Basic Parameters
The structure of the Spherical Plain Bearing is simpler than the rolling bearing, which is mainly composed of an inner ring with an outer spherical surface and an outer ring with an inner spherical surface. The joint bearing is generally used for low-speed swing motion (ie angular motion), because the sliding surface is spherical, it can also be tilted within a certain angle range (ie, self-aligning motion), and it can still work normally when the bearing shaft and the shaft shell hole are not concentrically large.
Centripetal Spherical Bearing Types

(1) GE… Type E: Single-slit outer ring, without lubricating oil slot. Can withstand radial loads and smaller axial loads in either direction.
(2) GE… Type ES: Single-slit outer ring, with lubricating oil slot. Can withstand radial loads and smaller axial loads in either direction.
(3) GE… Type ES-2RS, GEEW… Type ES-2RS: Single-slit outer ring, with lubricating oil slot, with sealing rings on both sides. Can withstand radial loads and smaller axial loads in either direction.
(4) GE… ESN type: single-slit outer ring, GE… XSN type: double-slit outer ring (split outer ring), with lubricating oil groove, the outer ring has stop groove. Can bear radial load and smaller axial load in either direction. But when the axial load is borne by the stop ring, its ability to bear axial load is reduced.
(5) GE… HS type: The inner ring has lubricating oil groove, double half outer ring, and the clearance can be adjusted after wear. Can bear radial load and smaller axial load in either direction.
(6) GE… DE1 type: The inner ring is hardened bearing steel, and the outer ring is bearing steel. It is extruded and formed when the inner ring is assembled, and has lubricating oil groove and oil hole. Bearings with an inner diameter of less than 15mm, without lubricating oil grooves and oil holes. Can withstand radial loads and smaller axial loads in either direction.
(7) GE… DEM1 type: The inner ring is hardened bearing steel, and the outer ring is bearing steel. It is extruded and formed during the assembly of the inner ring. After the bearing is loaded into the bearing seat, the end groove is pressed out on the outer ring to fix the bearing axially. Can withstand radial loads and smaller axial loads in either direction.
(8) GE… DS type: The outer ring has an assembly groove and a moisturizing chute. Limited to large size bearings. Can withstand radial loads and smaller axial loads in either direction (one side of the assembly groove cannot bear axial loads.
Product Application
Articular bearings are widely used in engineering hydraulic cylinders, forging machine tools, construction machinery, automation equipment, automotive shock absorbers, water conservancy machinery and other industries. Articular bearings are spherical sliding bearings, and the basic type is composed of inner and outer rings with spherical sliding spherical contact surfaces. According to their structure and type, they can withstand radial loads, axial loads, or combined loads with radial and axial simultaneous actions.
Because the spherical sliding contact area of the joint bearing is large, the inclination angle is large, and because most of the joint bearings take special processing methods, such as surface phosphating, galvanizing, chrome plating or outer sliding surface lining, padding, spraying, etc., it has a large load capacity and impact resistance, and has the characteristics of corrosion resistance, wear resistance, self-aligning, good lubrication or self-lubrication without lubricating dirt pollution, even if the installation is misplaced, it can work normally. Therefore, the joint bearing is widely used for low-speed swing motion, tilt motion and rotary motion.
